Hi, and welcome to our Illinois flower farm! My name is Anne Jakob, and I started the flower farm in 2021 with the support of my incredible husband Eric. Some days I still can’t believe I’m living out my dream. Every day is filled with learning, new adventures and a little chaos. We named the farm Wild Thistle Farm due to the wild thistle we noticed growing around the property and as a tribute to my families Scotish ancestry. It wasn’t until later that we realized our farms initials were WTF. Somedays, thats’s totally appropriate.

We are focusing on rebuilding our soil and putting nutrients back into the earth, while planting flower varieties that attract and feed our native bees. We strive to grow all of our flowers following organic practices, without the use of herbicides or pesticides.

We love inviting friends to the farm to enjoy our land and flowers. We can’t wait to meet you!
